How to prepare homemade laundry detergent?
Grated soap can be bought at the store or you can grate it at home. When grating, it is important to open the window so that you don’t suck out the tiny bits of soap.
Weigh the grated soap and add enough washing soda so that the scale shows four times the weight of the original soap
After measuring out the correct proportions of the ingredients, mix them thoroughly and place the finished washing powder in a container
How to use homemade laundry detergent?
For each wash, put two level tablespoons of laundry detergent in the dispenser of your washing machine. For a greener wash, use vinegar scented with essential oils or dried fruits/florals (e.g. orange, lemon, lavender) instead of rinse aid.
